Pray for Sanctuary Home

Prayer is foundational for all we do as a ministry. Please join us in praying for the children, widows, and all the people whom the Lord gives us the opportunity to help. Pray also for strength and wisdom for the leadership, staff, partners, and everyone involved with Sanctuary Home. Pray that we may live out the pure and faultless religion described in James 1:27 - "to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

Make a One-Time Donation

You can make a one-time donation to help us purchase needed supplies and pay administration costs. The only people receiving a salary from Sanctuary Home are the five workers actually at the facility in India. Our administrative costs in the USA include such things as our website, mailings, legal costs of forming and maintaining a nonprofit organization, post office box, copies, and so forth. Costs in India include food, medical care, school tuition, staff salaries, utilities, and various annual or one-time purchases of supplies such as dishes, linens, a gas stove connection, and a vehicle.

Donate Monthly to Sanctuary Home

You can pledge a monthly amount to help us with the operational costs of Sanctuary Home. Our facility costs several thousand dollars per month including staff, medical needs, and fuel. Any amount to help defer that cost would be much appreciated. Checks should be made payable to Sanctuary Home for Children, and can be mailed to Sanctuary Home for Children, P.O. Box 2238, Abilene, TX 79604.

Many people have requested a way to automatically donate specific amounts to Sanctuary Home on a monthly basis from their PayPal accounts. However, because PayPal does not currently offer a flexible amount on a per month basis, a specific amount must be chosen from below. Therefore, if you would like to make a monthly donation in an amount that you do not see below, please contact Amanda at amanda@sanctuaryhome.org and she will be glad to add it.

Sponsor a Child

$35 per month covers the full sponsorship of one of the children in our orphanage. New sponsorships require an additional one-time fee of $50 to provide supplies for the new child. If you are interested in sponsoring a child, If you choose this option, please email your contact information to Amanda at amanda@sanctuaryhome.org. You will receive a photo and information about the child, and occasional correspondence from the child through a translator. We encourage you to write to the child and to pray regularly on his or her behalf.

Sponsor a Widow

$12 per month will provide a destitute widow with enough money to buy rice and avoid begging. The widows in the SH program are also offered free sewing lessons so they can learn a skill which will help them move towards a self-supporting future.

All money donated to Sanctuary Home is used strictly for the children and widows and operating expenses in India and is tax deductible. We send annual contribution statements in January for tax purposes. If you prefer to send a check, please make it out to Sanctuary Home For Children and mail it to P.O. Box 2238, Abilene TX 79604. We do not offer a direct bank draft program, but many banks do provide the service for their account holders; please check with your own bank if you're interested in this option.
