The Children

Some of the children shown on this site are without a sponsor, although all forty-eight currently live in Sanctuary Home. Previously, they lived on the streets. Those classified as orphans have no parents to care for them. Those classified as semi-orphans were also in a merciless situation: they have one living parent who has remarried, and according to their culture, they are not welcome in the new household. Some have a parent who can't care for them, and some have been abandoned. All of these children need to have their physical needs met, as well as their emotional needs and an education. If you would like to sponsor a child, please email us to find out which children need sponsors at this time. Update: All forty-eight children are sponsored. Once we complete the new SH building, we will need sponsors for an additional twenty children.

Sathishbabu already has a sponsor. Sathishbabu's brother is Pavankumar.

I am deeply moved to bring this story to your good selves.  This Satish babu with his brother currently on the roads.  His father 5 years back left the village.  The villagers said that he was suffering from stomach ache.  They also expressed some sort of suspension that he might have committed suicide.  Where about of him are not at all in light.  But the mother of two children Could not take care of them.  Now they are in merciless condition no food, no clothing.  Through cleaning the dishes by going door to door whatever she earns is not sufficient to meet even their house rent condition of her is how so unkind.  I contacted this family to one of the preachers.  In this regard I reqest your good selves to make these two children’s future may be prosperous through your kind involvement of sponsorship.

That was before...this is after...

Greetings! Here is your report on Satish (SOT-EESH)- he's such a sweet boy! He is 10 years old and in 5th class. His favorite subject is Telugu. From everything we saw and heard, he is a very happy boy (just like his little brother). His favorite games are cricket and football (soccer). He was very interested in the video camera and was always watching while I was taping. When we interviewed him, he squirmed and tried to think of something to say. With the help of Rajanikanth, this is what we came up with: He is very anxious to study well (5th grade is an important year in the Indian school system, and Isaac is paying extra with his own money to send the 5th, 7th, and 10th graders to private schools). He is loyal and kind, likes to help others, and is obedient. He "leads his life to take the elders' suggestions." Satish is a good person, a good boy. I did get the sense that he has a gentle and sweet spirit. He asked for prayers for his good future, faith to God, and good studies. Thank you so much for supporting this little boy!
